Picking Which Airline 101

Let's forget about which airline for now. We need to figure out where you fly the most and what routes.

Depending on those routes, will determine which alliance you should choose.

Main ones that matter are Star Alliance, Sky Team and One world.

Once you've figured out which alliance flies the most for you, next is to find out which airline company has the best offer with points and speed to status. The airline points are like flying currencies. You can use them to upgrade your flight, get free flights or purchase goods.

Once you pick your airline, try to stick to it. If you do become a frequent flyer, being loyal does have it's rewards.
